Last Saturday, hundreds came out to enjoy the festivities, as the Gumboot Nation celebrated Creek Daze in Roberts Creek. The Higgledy Piggledy Parade started things off with participants dressed up in all manner of costume. Creekers walked, biked and danced from the R.C. Hall down to the Pier area where a stage was set up for Music at the Mandala. In addition to the performers, over 40 vendors provided lots to look at and buy. There was a kids zone with games and face painting, free Yoga on the pier, and a raffle. Later in the evening, Creek Daze ended with a dance at the Hall, featuring local live music and DJs. The annual event was, “a real Creek style party with something for everyone.”
